Okay, so I cannot translate everything I'm gonna say. I'm not that good. Sorry.
So from reading your posts I take it you guys are discussing what pictures were of quality, what we were looking for and the like. I think I read that someone didnt thing a stock/original car could make it in and that we were focusing on more of a show car quality.
I'll correct that. We actually have a couple of stock/original S12s in the calendar. What we needed was pictures of good quality. Good background and placement of the car. Good resolution of the picture so when it was printed it was not fuzzy. Good composition from an artistic view. basically, we were aiming for the types of pictures you would see in a magazine. Yes, there are some cars in there that are far from stock/original.
Yes, the calendar has been sent of to be printed. We are getting a proof/test of it tomorrow in the mail to look at a finished product. So tomorrow I'll be posting up more information and a picture or so for you guys.
I hope next year you guys can send in some good pictures. We did have one French car submitted but unfortunately, the lighting and the resolution werent able to be printed without the picture being fuzzy. With another year for you guys to work on your cars and get some good pictures, I would like to be able to put in a French car. Right now we have 2 from Australia, 1 from Croatia and 1 from Finland in the calendar. We are VERY committed to showing that we are an international club and do not focus on just those from the States. So as you can see, 4 out of 12 are from outside the US. I am hoping for next year to make that 6 out of 12 be outside the US. I am in charge of all international submissions and relations for feel free to ask me anything you would like.
Cheers!
Colin
